Application route
Students and alumni of partner universities must first complete their home university’s preselection. Citizenship-specific routes differ; check the official admissions instructions.
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree by August of the enrollment year, academic strength, interest in China Studies and English proficiency. Materials include a personal statement, research-interest statement, transcripts, CV, degree evidence and two academic recommendations. Check current word limits, referee qualifications, permitted tests and score-delivery rules.
Fellowship
Listed benefits include tuition, accommodation, a monthly stipend, one return trip and field-study costs. Confirm the amount, duration and conditions in writing before budgeting; this review does not certify every cost for two years.
