International first-year applicants are eligible for most Wake Forest merit scholarships, including selected full-cost Carswell, Gordon, Reynolds and Stamps awards. Read the official international admissions rules.
Application route
The university scholarship page requires a complete admission application by 15 November for most merit awards, without a separate scholarship application. Other awards can require forms, auditions or interviews. The page gives annual deadlines; confirm the Fall 2027 cycle and your award’s conditions before submitting.
Financial limitations
Foreign-national applicants cannot receive need-based aid. Applicants without a merit award must show sufficient financial support before admission consideration. International transfer applicants cannot receive financial or scholarship assistance from Wake Forest.
Choose the right admission plan
Early Action is restricted to qualifying first-generation applicants. Early Decision is binding. Use the official admissions page to choose a suitable plan while meeting scholarship timing.
Confirm the final award
These awards are highly selective. Verify coverage, renewal, housing conditions and any separate award application. This review does not certify individual award-dollar estimates or comparisons with other universities.
