Eiffel Excellence Scholarship 2027: Dates, Funding and Tuition Limits

The 2027 Eiffel call opened on 2 October 2026. French institutions submit nominations by 6 January 2027; students must meet their institution’s earlier internal deadline. Results are scheduled for the week of 12 April 2027.

Funding and remaining costs

The regulations list monthly payments of €1,200 for master’s students and €2,000 for doctoral students, plus conditional travel, insurance and other services. Housing assistance concerns finding accommodation; it does not guarantee free housing.

Eiffel does not pay tuition or training fees. Certain national diplomas at qualifying French public institutions have registration-fee exemptions. Ask the host to confirm your exemption and remaining costs.

Eligibility and duration

The call sets age limits of 29 for master’s and 35 for doctoral applicants. Master’s support can last 12, 24 or 36 months depending on entry level and programme. Doctoral support has separate 12-, 18- and 36-month conditions; residence and joint-supervision rules differ by route.

Apply through your institution

Read the official call and 2027 regulations, then contact the host’s international office. Confirm admission, nomination, other-award restrictions and the study-start requirements.
