2+ Years Work Experience: How It’s Calculated

Chevening requires 2,800 hours minimum. That’s:

• Full-time (40 hrs/week): 18 months

• Part-time (20 hrs/week): 36 months

• Mix of full-time, part-time, internships, volunteering

What counts:

• Paid employment

• Internships (paid or unpaid)

• Voluntary work

• Self-employment / entrepreneurship

What doesn’t count:
